Introduction

Idemitsu Gas Production (IGP) has developed the SV & DN Project at block 05-1b & 05-1c, Nam Con Son basin, offshore Vietnam with the target for being on stream in Q3-2020 and Q3-2021. The Project comprises one (01) Central Processing Platform (CPP-SV) and one (01) un-manned Well Head Platform (DN-WHP), a 12.75”Ø x 10.2km subsea flexible FWS pipeline from DN to SV and a 96mmØ x 10.32km power cable from DN to SV. The overall objective of the Sao Vang – Dai Nguyet Development Project is to secure the energy necessary to meet domestic demand and support the growth of the Vietnamese economy.

SVDN field is located approximately 160nm southeast from Vung Tau, Vietnam in water depth approximately 116m.

IGP had contracted the main DN WHP EPIC scope to PTSC MC. PTSC MC in turn subcontracted the transportation & installation scope to consortium PT Meindo Elang Indonesia (MEI) and Rosemary Overseas Ltd (RMO).

RMO’s activities:

·       Pre-installation survey for Installation area for DN WHP’s Jacket and Topside, Flexible pipeline and Subsea cable routing from Sao Vang CPP to Dai Nguyet WHP.

·       Laying 10.2 km of 12.75” Flexible Pipeline and 10.32 km of OD96mm Subsea Power Cable.

·       Primary Structural support frame for Tensioner and Secondary structure for access and safe operations.

·       Working platform and hang-off collars to temporality support pipe sections while making up end terminations / pipe connections.

·       Winch foundation to mount a 10-20T SWL winch, which was used to assist with onboard handling and initiation of the pipeline through the tensioner.

·       Sheaves to route the vessel’s abandonment and recovery (A&R) winch wires over the lay system to pay-out or retrieve the subsea pipelines

·       Sea fastening of all equipment and structural assessment of the vessel’s deck to support the design loads

·       Flexible Pipeline Hydrotesting

·       Subsea Cable Permanent Hang Off Clamp Installation, Termination and Testing
